John was born and raised in Texas.  He earned his BA from the University of Texas in Austin and his JD from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

Other licenses he currently holds are by the Texas Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Because of his unique background and experience with Oil & Gas Law, John assists Jason DeSouza on all oil field injury cases.

In addition to his vast array of professional achievements he greatly enjoys spending time with his family and taking his boat out on the lake.

He is an avid bike rider and loves to hit the ski slopes in Colorado.
